Gojo Paradiso Homes started as a gaijin house with a small vision, a home a way from home for foreigners here in this great place, Central Kyoto.

At the beginning we slept in a Ryokan (Japanese inn) in this quiet neighborhood, using the Sento (public bath like onsen but in the city), and now....coffee shops, restaurants, Ryokans , backpacker..and still quiet, just as the khaosan road in Bangkok was 20 years ago.

and us..We got to manage our 7 houses, doing what we love, stay among travelers, feel the freedom of travel at home, thank you all, thanks for the letters and appreciations, it surely motivate us too.
I hope and believe you all will continue to get the good out of us; we love it and like to give.

As a 20 years traveler, we tried to give others what we thought makes the different: ?a HOME not a guest house, comfort not formality, yet freedom but not chaos, expect nothing get everything, japanese style..

?We tried to combine it with the Japanese mentality, respect others, consider, patient etc. ?the fact that we have Kyoto machiya house (Kyoto old style traditional wood houses) is helping to get the feeling of real Japan, (according to your great comments) make your staying here to an unforgettable journey.
